On the face of it this is a great idea for an app, one that shows the various body parts, where they are, what they are called and how they link up. Great for kids and students studying the basics of human biology, or even if you're intrigued by what happens in your body.
The Body Parts app is split up into two systems: that of imagery of body parts and the other that deals with ash cards. In reality, the first has illustrations, the second one photos, drawings, scans and 3D artwork. The body parts side has either a test or learning option. On the learning side there’s the illustration of the body area with number annotations. Stupidly, the descriptions aren’t all on screen, you have to tap through them one by one. When it comes to the test, it’s the same illustration and the student needs to enter the number and the body part. It’s absolutely dismal. The body parts section is better, although the artwork varies wildly in quality from excellent to rubbish. The entire package is underwhelming, lacks any useful information or options and is likely to put anyone o biology for good.
