At first glance, this iPad-only offering may seem a little busy, with room for long-form notes, highlighted sections and a to-do list, but the reality is that once you’ve got the hang of the basics, ActionNotes is extremely easy to use.
The app itself takes on the form of a ring-binder (complete with tabbed sections for storing groups of notes, much like you’d separate projects in a ring-binder).
Within each section you can add as many notes as you like, and alongside each page is a to-do list. Adding things is a breeze, and ActionNotes even groups your to-do list for every section on the back cover for easy reference.
Everything here is easily searchable, and you can organise notes and lists as you please. Add to that the ability to email notes and to-do lists to others and Dropbox integration for backup and syncing, and you’ve got a must-have download.
