3 Good Photo Editing Apps for iPad

Portfolio Pro appears to have taken all the difficulty out of portfolio creation through its simple interface and functionality that reduces the process to just a few taps and no more than ten minutes of groundwork.

For an app that appears quite rigid in terms of its interface, you can personalise your work with ease. It‘s possible to change the colour scheme of individual portfolios, as well as the font and the various features of each section of text within a presentation.

Personalisation is something that can really make your creation stand out, and on the Galleries homepage you can drop in crucial extra details like a logo, web address and description of the portfolio.

In a sense you can create an in-depth digital business card from scratch. The real kick you will get from using Portfolio Pro is that you don’t need a tutorial to grab what the app does. The interface is simple and intuitive enough to guide you with minimal fuss, and it is refreshing to see a creative app not try to overcomplicate things.

Portfolio Pro knows what it wants to be – a presentation tool to help you stand out when going for a job interview or pitching for something important.

Everything is kept to a core number of areas, speeding up and simplifying every aspect of using the app, whether it be because you need to create a winning portfolio or just a solid slideshow viewer for your multimedia files.

Color Splash for iPad allows you to quickly remove colour from speci c parts of an image with some incredibly striking results. The app’s simple interface allows you to choose between just two brush types: colour and grey, which allow you to quickly create the image effect, but it’s not until you start fine-tuning your edit that Color Splash for iPad’s more acute features come into their own and really make the app worth the money.

Using a two- nger pinch, you can zoom in on the photo you’re working on up to pixel level and, using the brush menu, adjust the colour/grey brush in order to ensure accuracy. You can even turn on a visual brush in order to see exactly what part of the image you’re working on. The brush’s strength can also be adjusted, allowing you to bring a smaller amount of colour back to your edit. All in all, this app’s simple interface makes for the perfect way to do something special with your images.
