Tiger Woods PGA Tour App For iPad

This is more of an update than a sequel to previousgames, although in fairness it doesn’t deviate especially far from the controls of its predecessors.

The touchscreen swing mechanic returns, requiring the player to draw their  nger down a meter and swipe to swing. You can draw and fade the ball by curving your finger’s movement, and add spin by swiping during its trajectory.

The bulk of the play takes place in the PGA Tour, which sees you compete for cash prizes, which can then be used to enter tournaments or buy equipment. Smaller modes come in the form of the Tiger Challenge and Closest To The Pin. The latter mode is self-explanatory, but EA’s decision to limit this multiplayer mode just to Facebook is odd.

The disappointing multiplayer decisions don’t end there. While multiplayer is included, it’s con ned to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which is a shame as online play would have made the app a more tempting proposition.
